OgieKanogie.com gears up for big ad!

So much stuff going on with my photography. I will soon be switching over to a new and more fabulous blog that will hopefully inspire me to post more. I never have a shortage of stuff to post...just time to get it done!

I do want to share with you some shots from yesterday with Lauren from SIM. OgieKanogie.com has been doing a big marketing push and of course that means new shoots! I took it inside for this one and it went so well. Linda Wagner (my fave stylist as you know) did an amazing job. Lauren was so much fun and she is as stunning as she is sweet.

Okay so I know...I am the WORST about posting. I swear that it took me forever to play catch up from our Europe trip. I have been shooting models like crazy! Here are a few of the beauties...I know I have some catch up posting to do, I am on it. yes Pam...I am talking to you!

Brionna wanted to try her hand at some commercial modeling. She's an absolute doll!

Brooke was my fave from the week. So laid back and so beautiful. She's a natural and great to work with! (She's 15....yeah, I know. I was so not cute like this at 15).

Here is little Miss Jenna. I had her session weeks ago but she's such a pretty girl. I had to share. 

Okay how cute is Alexia??? She showed up looking like she had been modeling since she was a baby. She's a pro!!

She has been on my site for awhile but little Sydney deserves a replay.  

There are so many adorable ladies, these were just a sample. Maybe I will give you some boys tomorrow!

The best baby shower ever

Okay...well the second best. It sort of ties with our co-ed baby shower for my daughter. Except that this one had waaay better food and the most beautiful cake ever. 

My girlfriend Amy  and her hubby Jim had their co-ed baby shower last weekend. It was so much fun! Her girlfriend Tamara hosted it at their gorgeous house in Chandler. There was drinks and games and so many laughs. The men played the games and OH BOY was that fun for us girls. They had to be pregnant and then race to tie their shoes. 10 seconds in and half of them fell over. Then they had to race to drink from bottles and not hold the bottles. They used the wall, each other, their big bellies. We laughed so hard. My hubby is the black and white shot of the muscle man dangling a bottle from his mouth. 

You can see that amazing Cat in the Hat cake at the center. It was so cool! Her nursery is Dr Suess themed. Such detail on the little onsies and bibs. Even tinie-tiny socks! The sweet baby boy at the bottom is Aiden. I shot him as a newborn. He's so stinken beautiful. 

I love capturing showers and parties. It's the fun part of my job. Makes for a great present too! If you would like to see more, her slide show can be found here. Enjoy!

Happy Mother's Day!

A tribute to some of the amazing Mom's I have worked with this year. In this mix you will find a few teachers, a lawyer, a business owner, a television personality, a model, an administrative assistant, a college professor, a talent agent, and some at-home Moms. They all have in common that they are fantastic Mothers! Happy Mother's Day to all of you. 

Past meets present

Okay so this was weird. I was on facebook looking at some images that a friend posted of me from high school. Then I noticed that OgieKanogie is running an ad on facebook with an image I shot. What are the odds that ad would end up on the same page as my chubby baby face? So I took a screen shot, because it was like past meets present.

Danielle Nicole Henry

Okay so if you have followed my work at all, you have seen plenty of Danielle. Danielle recently relocated to Los Angeles and took it by storm! In the last few months since her signing with LA Models (she is still co-signed with SIM Agency) her career is nuts! She has been booked for Abercrombie, Ralph Lauren, New York Fashion Week and so many other exciting projects. I am so stinking proud of her. She is a friend of mine and I love watching friend's succeed. The funny thing??? She is doing it all because she wants to be a massage therapist one day. Gotta love that. Supermodel by day, massage therapist by night. 

Anyhoo, she was recently featured on Theones2watch.com . You can find her story here. I also had her come in to shoot for OgieKanogie.com last month. I feel lucky to have her when I can get her. Pretty soon here she will be "to big for us small timers." Danielle has always supported me and my photography. I am so proud of her! Here's a few shots from the last year of working together. 

Maria...Maria...Maria Pallas

So Maria Pallas came into town and we shot, shot, shot. So much fun! We had to spread it into two days of shooting. I ended up with 450 images...after I was done proofing! Since I have so much great stuff, I thought I would share some of the best of the 2 days. I also included all her laughs. Maria has a great, full of life laugh. Special thank you to Sarah San Marco for all her help with makeup!

Anniversaries are in the air.

So I recently celebrated my 5 year wedding anniversary to my wonderful hubby. It also seems that I am surrounded with other wedded couples that are celebrating! 

Here we have Brenda and Monty Stredonovich. All Brenda wanted for their anniversary is some great pictures together. I hope that I delivered. It was a fun session at the golf course. Monty is a big golfer so he made sure we followed all the proper etiquette on the course while shooting.
