Many of you know that Carrie Moten and I set out to do new head shots of her monthly (if we can get our schedules together). I want to make sure that every session is different from the one prior.
Session one was in a big metal barn and then off to a random shopping center.
Session two was oddly on the other side if the metal barn. Only this time I didn't make her go inside with the pigeons. (No seriously, like a hundred pigesons...good thing she trusts me.)
Today we were in downtown Tucson. I had a grand idea to get this big "city" type shot but it didn't work out, more specifically my brain was not connecting with my camera. However I LOVE these. So colorful and expressive. She kept freaking out because people would stop and stare at her. It's not every day a beautiful girl is having a photoshoot on the sidewalk. She's a trooper though, trying everything I ask and squeezing into even the seedy holes of the city for the love of art.
Sometimes I get struck by an idea for a shot and will make her drop what's she's doing and shoot. This includes an appetizer she just ordered since the restaurant had an beautiful entry way. The green ivy shots were taken somewhere between appetizers and dinner arriving. Like I said, good thing she trusts me.
It is total coincidence that three of my 5 favorites she is looking to the left. I am fine with that because they turned out so good. Here is Carrie Moten, headshot session round three. I am taking suggestions for the next location...
